Family time

I love pictures! Especially of my kids :-) This is a great picture of the four of us. And I also managed to get one of the four generations (my grandmother, my mom, and my daughters) where we all had our eyes open.

Christmas #2

One of the best things about Christmas is cookies!!! On Christmas eve, Kaitlin and I decorated cookies with Grandpa. She made a very special cookie for daddy and was excited from him to eat it :-)

Today we got to celebrate Christmas again! Kaitlin was very excited to open presents and play with her new toys. She got her first Barbie doll today, and she was very excited. She also got some tools, art supplies and a special piano from santa.

Christmas #1

We left on the night of the 22nd to come to North Carolina for Christmas. So on the 20th we decided to celebrate Christmas at home. Luckily mom and dad have an in with Santa and convinced him to come early for Kaitlin and Kaleigh. Kaitlin was very exicted with her first view of everything Santa had brought her, especially her dollhouse and trains!

Kaitlin was having so much fun playing with her dollhouse that she didn't want to open presents. After we finished with presents, Casey came over to have some apple stuff and enjoy the morning with us.

Our lil monkey

Today was Kaitlin's last day of parent participation gymnastics. It's a little bitter sweet for us, while I was big pregnant Justin started taking Kaitlin to her gymnastics class and she loves the time with daddy. I am excited for her to start in her big girl class, but it's hard for me to believe that she will be turning three in a couple of weeks.

REI Christmas Party

We went to the REI Christmas party on Dec. 7. Kaitlin had a great time blowing bubbles with the kids and dancing.

Oh Christmas Tree!

Yesterday we went up to Apple Hill with some friends of ours to get our Christmas tree. Kaitlin had a great time! She got to help pick it out and call for the "cut." She was very excited today to help decorate it, especially when I put a few presents underneath :-) The ornaments look a little strange, but she couldn't be prouder!

Turkey Time

On Thanksgiving morning - The girls and I did the Run to Feed the Hungry with some friends of ours. I did the 10k and my good friend Casey did the 5k with the girls in the stroller. Everyone had a great time. Justin rode his bike down to meet us at the finish line. Kaitlin especially enjoyed the post race cookies :-)
