Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day we took the girls to downtown Sacramento for the Amgen Tour of California time trial. It was really fun to see such big names in cycling right in our hometown. Justin got to ride the course before the race started. He also had a great time drooling over the newest bike stuff. After the race we visited at gramma's house and then went to Jen's for dinner.

Kaitlin's First Ski Day!!!!

Justin, Papa and I took Kaitlin on her first ski day on Friday. She had a great time, she especially loved the chair lift and kept telling us that she was flying. She did a great job and loved getting to go first down the mountain. She started off the day with daddy holding her between his skis and then she got to use the leashes.

Snowshoe fun!

Yesterday Justin and I took the kids snowshoeing. It was Kaitlin's first time on her own snowshoes. She had so much fun. She didn't want to stay on the trail - she had much more fun playing in the powder and climbing up and down the little hills. She also loved falling into the snow just for fun. After snowshoeing we got out her sled and her and daddy took some runs and then she wanted to go by herself. It was a really fun day!

Kaitlin's Birthday #3

We had Kaitlin's party at Adventureland - it's got some bounce houses and games. The kids had a great time, especially Kaitlin :-) She was very excited about her Tinkerbell party!

Kaitlin's Birthday #2

On Kaitlin's actual birthday she and mommy spent the day together, without her baby sister. We went shopping and picked out her birthday cake, had ice cream and got some balloons. The morning of her birthday she had informed me that it couldn't be her birthday because there weren't any balloons. We went to Chevy's for her birthday dinner with Gramma and Papa and then Justin and I took her climbing.
